A new little restaurant opened in the next town over on Friday: A creamery and crepery!

It features ice cream from a local dairy (which is honestly the best ice cream ever, even better than Penn State Creamery, of which I am also a huge fan) and, of course, crepes. My fabulous gym buddy, Scott, and his friend Dustin and I checked it out today.

I had a turkey and smoked gouda crepe, and it included romaine lettuce and tomato, too. It was so good and huge — that’s a little more than half of it! It was the perfect lunch for $6.75.

I never had crepes or even gave them much thought until I visited one of my best friends in Baltimore a few years ago. I think I had a butter and sugar crepe. I can’t remember the name of that crepery but it was near the Inner Harbor.  Kelsey doesn’t live in Baltimore anymore but I’ve considered driving back  just for one of those crepes!

Hmm, maybe I should plan a trip to visit Rose ….
